Help needed with 80s kids prog on bbc

I thought that this prog was called jossies giants but i now think it wasnt.
It was a bbc show late 80s i think cant remember much but i do know it was about a lad who was always getting in trouble,the opening credits was of him washing his dads car and i think he accidently uses a brillo pad,i also remember him wearing a newcastle united shirt alot.And i also seem to remember he had a friend whos younger sister was always hanging round.
