I have vague memories of a cartoon series I watched as a child. I think I must have been about 5 or 6 when I saw it, which would put it around 1973, though it could be older.
It was about a pair of dogs.
From what I remember
- It was a five minute cartoon
- shown on BBC1
- possibly the 5:40 slot, just before the news.
- anthropomorphic characters, they lived together in a house, walked on 2 legs, etc.
- Yorkshire terriers, or similar.
- One was black, the other was white.
- it was a silent cartoon, i.e. they didn't speak, but there was music.
One plot I remember, they had a dispute over ownership of a bone. The story finished with them both sitting in a rocking chair, rocking back and forth, taking turns to lick the bone.
Does anyone know this?
