Who else remembers George & Mildred

I have the complete series on dvd and the film i was really disappointed they did'nt do a fifth series and i still miss yootha joyce :cry:

yootha was a superb actress but as u know she had a terrible drink problem.

i wartched the film of it not long ago.

she died 24th of august 1980 at the age of 53.
she was born 20th of august 1927.

This was one of those programs that stick in the memory quite well.Mum used to like watching it,so the rest of the family also just sat there with her.Good ole George and mildred never really failed to get a laugh out of us.It's been on one of the free view channels recently and managed to catch up with an episode or two.Strange thing is now days when I see program of this age period I am looking more for things in the studio sets that I remember people having in their homes when I was growing up.
