Re: Bottom
Being keen on geography I thought the choice of Hammersmith as the setting for "Bottom" rather interesting as it's near the BBC Television Centre and especially with Richie and Eddie's fictitious address of 11 Mafeking Parade. Right around the corner from the BBC Television Centre to the north is South Africa Road along with some streets named after Boer War battles. Also Eddie is a QPR fan which is also right near the Television Centre to the south.

Re: Bottom
Bottom is ace, definitely agree that the camping episode is the best! The chess one is also brilliant, will have to watch that one again very soon. One scene that always cracks me up is from Richie's birthday episode, Eddie hands an excited Richie a wrapped gift -
"I wonder what it is, I wonder what it is!!!! It, it, it...........it's a comb.......it's my comb which I lost last week."
Then Richie orders Eddie to get him a better present and Eddie returns a few moments later with a slightly larger gift -
"Ahhh, that's more like it! Its, its, its............the remote control from the television set."
Glad to hear the boys are returning, the old-schoolers are still the best!

Re: Bottom

i always thought they did too few episodes.
adrian said they had outgrown it obviously not.
This cracks me up.haha.
Night night. Hope the bed bugs do not bite. If they do, do a p00, put it in a cornish stew. Into the ambulance dring, dring ,dring. Fish trousers, elephant in Peking. Saw a busy bee, diddle-diddle-dee. Daddy's an accountant just like me. Night night, God bless

Lol, Darren! I love that episode! Fancy being afraid to enter the shop just because of the shop keeper! And then having a go at the first half of the couple because Richie wasted 80p on her! Another one of my favourites - Bottom's Up - Richie is awful as a shop keeper.

Re: Bottom
From the Ferris Wheel episode:
Richie: Well, she obviously sensed my musky sort of smell.
Eddie: Yes, we've all been sensing your sort of musky smell for nigh on forty years. WHEN WILL YOU BUY ANOTHER SHIRT???
Richie (pointing to his shirt): This is an original Van der Hosen!
Eddie: Yeah, it's THE original Van der Hosen! Hadn't had a wash since 1963!
Richie: Well if you had the common decency to go and get yourself a proper job and not hang around the flat all day like some vast slug, then perhaps I would have the opportunity to take my top off and wash it without the risk of you seeing my nipples!
