      Edwood woodwood!!

I loooooooved the Equalizer, the music and the grittiness!

My favourite episode was the one with his neices wedding when everyone thought he was a cowardly elderly uncle while he single handedly disposed of terrorists one by one, who'd hijacked the reception! Brilliant!

He never seemed to get paid though! lol

I could never work out the back story though!

Was he ex CIA (English CIA agent, hmmm?) or was he an ex MI5 or 6 expat with contacts and old CIA friends who had also gone freelance?!?

He was ex CIA - I just imagine him as Callum having gone over to 'The Cousins' in the CIA. He did his work for free - no pay at all. He did it to atone for his own 'crimes' as he felt, i.e. his dark, murky, CIA past. I thought he was a brilliant character, and having the then 56 year old 'Woowar' playing him made it all the more believable. The theme tune was good, and the beginning sequence was a bit too believably frightening - except the idiot who couldn't work out how to get out of a phone booth...lol.

Its a shame Woodward's gone but thats life. Very good actor in the part.
