losing my memory!

hi there !

my work friend and I were talking about tv we used to watch in the 80s and both of us recalled a programme which seemed to be on either near or instead of the Waltons. All we remember is that there were loads of logs on a river and some family looked after them -**** description I know lol!

CAn you help put us out of our misery!

also just thought of another programme - It had a group of kids - I think Jamie Kertz and John stamos and it was about trying to become famous = I recalled that they sang Hearts 'alone' in one episode! HELP!

I think it was "the beachcombers". It was about a Canadian family that worked in the lumber business. The opening credits would show logs in the river, which was how they transported them.
