Hi all!!!

Another one for you, think this was also on Jackanory when I was a wee boy,as it was on around my teatime so between 5 and 6pm.. used to watch it at my Grans while eating beans on toast!!! It was about a family that found a golden egg or something wrapped in a Carpet and when it went in the fire a cool Mechanical Phoenix came from it? Sorry thats all I remember..it was a LONG time ago!! lol.. any help gratefully appreciated from anyone else that remembers it, again, id love to see this again!!!
