Who has watched The Thorn Birds from the early 80's? Did you like it? I ask because I recently watched all the episodes on DVD. It really was as good as it was 20 odd years ago.

I remember this programme being quite controversial but don't remember many details apart from a priest having his wicked way with someone!

Yes, it did veer close to the knuckle at times, but a good tale nevertheless. The music was lovely.

I saw it when it was first on the air year ago, and I remember it being quite good. I've heard the book is very good too.
