Trying to remember an old 90s cartoon

i'm trying to remember the name of an old cartoon that aired on channel 4 in the UK, i'm pretty sure it was in 1990 because i'm sure it used to be on around 6pm, airing just before 'Gophers!'

all i remember was it was about an old man and woman, who were painters or artists and the theme tune was kinda upbeat and i'm sure it had the word "rockapella" (or something like that) in the lyrics.

Wow, thinking back this does sound familiar, your description rings a bell. I certainly remember Gophers, although I remember it more from its Sunday afternoon showing. Really hope someone can follow up on this as I'm certain I came across the same cartoon all those years ago.

There are loads of bits and pieces that aired on Channel 4 back in the early 90's that I would love to find out more about, I posted a query myself a good while back about a kids quiz show that aired around the same time, unfortunately nobody could help me out on it.
