I would watch this stuff daily...if they used some common sense they would see there is a market for nostalgia viewing. Shame no doubt after this special 30th birthday they will go back to showing the same old ****

        THats fantastic a lineup.
there is no doubt if these shows where on regular they would attract a huge audience both us older ones who have seen these shows and kids who never did.

ad ill bet kids who never saw these shows would prefer them.

quite a few there i never saw.

        get inspector gadget up there.

show them all from the very start.

im sitting here drooling at the thought of that.
i think i need someone to pick my face off the floor.heh.

          ill surely watch this.

but there shoud be one day at leat every week where they show these shows.

in fact there should be a channel called citv gold cartoon version of uk gold and they show these and other kids shows in their entirety.

            Re: CITV 30th birthday weekend

It has sort of been done, a few years ago now, Nick Jr (I think) changed over to Nick Jr classics every night and were showing old rainbows and the like. They've stopped now, perhaps they didn't get the audience they wanted! Mind you it was the wrong time of day for kids to watch! I agree though why aren't they being repeated? Digital channels seem to be ten a penny so why can't CITV have a CITV classics channel, they must have enough archive materials to keep them going for ages!

              Re: CITV 30th birthday weekend

              Sounds awesome.
However, i'm now gonna have to find 16 hours of recording time on my digi recorder.
Maybe i'll have a marathon and watch the entire day.

So, who watched over the weekend and what were your favourites.
My kids particularly enjoyed Funhouse and Knightmare, they want to know why they can't watch any more of them!

Unfortunately I totally forgot about this and didn't remember until Saturday night. So I missed a whole day (Boooooo).
As least I managed to record all the best stuff on Sunday.
