Not doing separate threads for such cheesy late 80's/early 90's crud, but does anyone remember these American programmes? In the HTV region, I think they were shown at 11.30pm, possibly on a Friday, and they just seemed like filler to me, absolute rubbish. I think I sat through them while waiting for American Gladiators to come on. Here are the intro's (warning, there are some muscular hairstyles on display!) -

Hardball - Richard Tyson (who?) has quite a hairstyle!

Renegade - which contains the apex, the pinnacle, of cheesy voice over intros! And the improbably named Branscombe Richmond has a hell of a mullet!

Wolf - Jack Scalia had earlier been in Dallas, I think he was schtuping Sue Ellen. Unusually, for a cheesy 1989 series, he doesn't have a mullet here.

Yeah - I used to watch Renegade quite a bit. It was a similar time in my memory when staying up late which started with ITV's revival of "V", through the nineties "War of the Worlds" - I used to enjoy all the late night trash while doing computer stuff...
