YEs i remember breakfast tv starting all those yrs back.
i remember getting up for school as this started.
frank and selia remeber it oh so well.

I remember, that ITV made a big hoo-haa deal about being the first to put on a TV breakfast show, "...from February One" to quote David Frost. But then, the BBC scrambled and pipped them to the post .

.......and I write this on the day that 'TV-AM - Good Morning Britain' turns 30. I remember that egg in a cup at the end of each show, which was joined by more as the years passed. Roland Rat famously saved TV-AM.

Loved the jingles, soon got bored of the same stories being repeated 10mins later. Much prefer todays system of get the news headlines then put the radio back on.

nothing has changed regarding the same news stories being repeated every 10 mins or so.
Yes i refer todayts system.

just hard to believe its 30 yrs its just flown by.

They still do that. It's really boring. At least back in the '80s there was some totty to look at: Jane Irving, Lisa Azziz - even Anne Diamond was spanky!!








These days, I just listen to the radio in the mornings.


Now Breakfast TV is like a boring middle class sitcom, without any jokes.
