Possible ichthyosaur in a cartoon?

Hello, I am asking this on behalf of my mum. She remembers a cartoon (not sure if drawn, stopmotion, etc)from around the early 90s that had a lake and ice, possibly igloos as well. There was a silver/blue/white ichthyosaurus (as she describes it) that visited this lake regularly and was regarded as a friend by other characters. She says these characters were "sort of white" and she keeps suggesting they could be Moomin characters. Pingu is another program mentioned in relation to this. She also remembers a flower that looked similar to a daisy that may have appeared in the ice at the side of the lake which may or may not have been an important plot object that was only there when this creature was.

I grew up in the late 80s/early 90s and do not remember this show, so I was wondering if anyone here would know what she's remembering.

Thank you so much! I pulled that show up on Youtube and my mum confirmed that's the one! She's been wondering about what this was for years. I don't remember it though, it came out three years before I was even born, so she must be mixing me up with my older brother.

That's ok.My sister used to like moschops,then ran around the house jumping out from behind things shouting something about fierceness lessons and roaring at us at the top of her voice,lol.

hhhmmm carnt say i new about this one but carnt watch every thing lol
