It was a long time ago so i do not remember that much about it but i know it was an ep of The Wonderful World Of Disney
It may even have been a 2 parter ,so could have been a movie split into 2.
Anyway,the hero was a dark haired, geeky - looking guy of maybe 18 years of age.I think he had a glider or small plane of some sort.
He met this rather attractive blond girl of about the same age and together they try to prevent a gang of crooks from doing something or other.(Cannot remember what ) in a snmall country town(?)
I seem to remember the girl wore light blue jeans and maybe a chequered shirt like a hillbilly might wear,although she wasn't a hillbilly.
Not much to go on but that's all i can remember.
