How 2 was an informative children's programme produced by tvs between 1990 and 1992, and stv productions scottish televsion from 1993 to 2006.
The original show How - was produced by southern television from 1966 up until 1981 when the company lost its franchise to tvs..

It was a regular fixture in the citv schedules.

how 2 starred gareth gaz top jones,sian lloyd, fred dineage, and carol vorderman, gail porter,gail mckenna.
fred was in every series of both how 2 and how.

country of origin U.K.
episodes where 30 mins long which inclued ads.

what a great show this was it really learned you how things worked.

I've never actually watched one single episode of How or How 2, but not through go out of my not to watch it.......it was just one of those programmes that just passed me by.

odd how it happened as it ra for such a long time mate.
its a show i remember so clearly.
good presenters light hearted but at the same time you where learning as well.

As I said darren, I just never seemed to be in or watching tv whenever it was on, weird considering it was quite a long running show.

Still, I get to see Fred Dinage nearly every day of the week as he's the main newsman on 'Meridian Tonight'.......and very good he is too!!!

I used to end up watching How back in the 70's,but it was just something that was on in the background at the time.Gave me as much enjoyment as cabbages and kings or crackerjack...zzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZ!The next door boys used to watch it quite a bit and always used to put their hands up and say "how",in a way that could only have come from the program.
Never caught a glimpse at How 2..too busy with shiftwork

i watched 'how' religiously as a child i'll never forget the day they sliced a banana inside it's skin...........clever stuff

how2 was a generation later so i passed on that

The bananna trick was also shown on why don't you.After that a piece of cotton and a sewing needle became a part of my toy box.Got my parants and friends more then once with that one,lol.Good fun.
