These days TV is absolutely saturated with celebrity chefs and cooks, but who can remember back to the 70's and 80's when there were far fewer to choose from?
I think the first one I was familiar with was Rusty Lee with her slots on TV-am, but there was also the Galloping Gormet, Graham Kerr. I only knew of him because he was a friend of my older cousin, who always talked about having him around for dinner. I never met the bloke though. Don't think I even saw any of his programmes.
Others include the mighty Delia, Ken Hom, Madhur Jaffrey and that woman with the glasses and curly hair on This Morning. Any others?
