Can anyone help me find the name of a 90's supernatural thriller I believe was on ITV. I seem to recall (though may be wrong) it ended with a devil-esque character who had previously appeared normal revealing his true form with a costume with protrusions encircling him, persuing a female character on a hill and bursting into flames.

Mr Pye (1986) perhaps?

During the course of four episodes he grows both devil horns and angel wings. It ends with a pursuit on a hill. I don't know about bursting into flame, I don't think that's the ending. Maybe something earlier in the series, perhaps.
