I remember a TV programme that I think was on ITV in the early 90s. It was a mini series about an Italian boy (I think from Sicily) who moves to Switzerland. It was imported and therefore dubbed. I only watched one episode and it concentrated on the racial stereotypes held by Swiss people about Italians. The boys name may have been the title of the series and may have begun with "P".

I remember this one clearly, it was called 'Pepino' but I can't seem to find anything about it online. It was screened on Saturday mornings around Autumn 1991. It got really dramatic towards the end I think, with the lead character Pepino saving a girl from a fire or something. I remember I hated it at first but actually found myself enjoying it towards the end!
