The Hogfather!!!

Now I am a huge Terry Pratchett fan and have collected the entire Discworld series from the start.
You may imagine I was delighted to hear about the filming for tv of the brilliant book 'The Hogfather' by the aforementioned maestro of fantasy.
My elation soon turned to disgust when I discovered that David Jason had been cast as DEATH's ever grumpy servant Albert. I adore David Jason and admire his ability but this stretches believe to twanging point!
Sorry for rattling on!
Anyone else had nightmares about casting in the past?

Hi momma...

Oh yes...Sylvester Stallone as Judge Dredd..that was..just wrong...Dolph Longren Rumoured for Rogue Trooper..again..wrong...the whole Idea and casting behind the Remake of the Wicker Man.. the Original is one of my favourite horror Films ever and is still Genuinely scary to this day..they should have just left it alonbe, the original is unparalleled.... the remake of 'The Poseidon Adventure'...why? the original is great!!!! If they werent so non pc these days theyd probably try to remake all the Hammer Classics replacing Vincent Price, Peter cushing,Christopher Lee, Ingrid Pitt with 'lesser' Actors..the premise doesnt bear thinking about..lol
