DIY programme from the 60s or 70s?

Anyone remember the name of the show or presenter who used to do a DIY program on Sunday mornings (as I remember)
He was forever gluing chairs and cupboards together. It wasn't that Barry Bucknell bloke! Cant' find any reference anywhere!
