Anyone remember this cartoon? probably mid 70's. Was about your usual dysfunctional american family ie mom dad, geeky brother and tubby sister with various pets, a definate fore runner to Family Guy and for that matter the Simpsons

Yes I remember it, it was on around tea time-ish a bit too adult for kids really as I recall.

Yep, It was one of those shows even my parents (who would only have been in late 20's/30ish) enjoyed. as It summed up home life pretty well.

would be interesting to find out how it would fare today. I found it funny at the time and your right it was more of an adult toon tacling the usual topics of teenagers, sex etc
