Need help remembering a TV show

Please help, My colleague is trying to remember the name of a Childrens TV SHOW which stared a Giant Mountie and was aired in the 70's. We know that its not Dudley Do Right, apparently it's not animated and is filmed in a sort of similar style to "Rainbow", please someone help as the rest of my colleagues and myself are quietly going mad trying to remember this show.

Dudley Do Rght was the only one i could think of too, or Due South, Moutie wise......was there a Mountie in Rocky and Bullwinkle?
