Sorry, I seem to have opened some sort of floodgate! 
There was a programme about animals that lived in a greenhouse - I think there was an owl? Pretty much all I remember about that was the one where the owl had a cold bath
sorry, not much to go on!
And another, maybe slightly later, again based in a greenhouse I think, where there was a man, a woman, and a creature (dragon? Not sure!) and there would be various clips of the woman out and about (I remember one with some goats), and the man had a pot of weird-looking seeds, and every time he planted one, he'd get plants that grew nice things, like cakes etc.
