I just started college then.
I recall watching and even recording on the vhs video recorder, The Prisoner.
I would have been watching Grange Hill.
I think I remember watching Coogan's Bluff.

So after almost a years worth of neglect, here’s another what’s on TV: This time we’ll be looking at Monday evening for the 17th of October 1983:

I decided to just show programming from around 17:00 onwards, just to prevent stupidly long listings of 10 minute cartoons and school programming. Though if you want me to do one of these just for kids shows then I sure can.

Recall watching 'The Prisoner' in 1983.
Thriller is brilliant. Currently watching this on dvd weekly.
Grange Hill use to be aired on bbc1. So is the show stated in the listing possibly a repeat.

I vaguely remember the repeat of "The Prisoner" at around that time.
I was quite excited about a chance to see it again, but TBH even then I thought it had dated badly.

The 80 minute timeslot is about right for it. I used to love that series in the 70s. I wish one of the digital ITV stations would show it again.
