Can anyone help me identify this TV show, my memories are very vague but what I do recall is :-
It was a british TV show from the 1980s. Every week it would have a man possibly returning to his family home and finding an object and having a flashback to his childhood. One episode I can remember is someone was digging in the garden and they find a toy soldier. The adult then has a flashback to him running in the garden and treading on the toy soldier. Obviously this flashback would be the story of the week and not a drug trip! I think the flashback stories were always during 2nd world wartime. I know it was shown around the same time as Shine On Harvey Moon. As a child I prefered this. How I remember the title of Shine on Harvey Moon and not this is most frustrating.
