I remember this from the early 80's I think. A TV play/drama about two teenage lads who, I think, had been caught smuggling drugs in a foreign country. The play mainly takes place in the cells they are locked in. One of the lads was seemingly unaware that he was being used as a drugs mule by the older lad who was the perpetrator.
They are monitored by a prison guard who is nice to them, I think he may have had a military uniform and a turban but I am not sure of this.
Just before their execution their hands are tied behind their backs and the younger lad says he'll never see his hands again. I think he appeals to the older lad to tell the authorities he was innocent but to no avail.
It was quite a harrowing play and I found it quite disturbing at the time.
Any ideas?
