Help! A show about a boy discovering Roman artefacts in a portal.....

Hi y’all!

this has been driving me nuts!

i vaguely remember a TV show from c.1979-1982 which involved a boy who, I think, found a hole in his bedroom wall (perhaps behind a wardrobe). When he went through the hole he brought back a sword and, perhaps, a Roman centurion’s helmet.

Any ideas? This would solve a 40-year-old riddle!

I vaguely recall the show.
It was called 'The Clifton House Mystery.'

But the show that I really enjoyed was the childrens' show called Nobody's House, which was aired in 1976.
