I am old enough to remember watching Catweazle when it was transmitted originally. It is nice to see that it is being shown again for fans old and new to enjoy. It was also featured as a strip in Look-In for a while.

Ta very much for the link, Tex. Very interesting. Bayldon was quite a familiar face on UK telly in the 70s and 80s. I remember in the first series, there was a riddle that Catweazle had to solve in order to get back to his own time, but it is rather fuzzy after so many years.
