but it has a different Aunt to when I saw it - I had this opening but with Briggitte Horney as Aunt Polly not Dinah Hinz as Aunt Sally?? unless she came later on and I can't remember her.

this mini series was broadcast in many countries such as Germany UK Australia Canada South Africa Venezuela and many other Latin American nations.
she was born March 29, 1911
died 27th july 1988 age 77.
Brigitte also starred in heidi.in 1978 when she was 67.
heidi was the story of a young girl living with her grandfather in the mountains of switzerland.

Brigite was german.
