I’ve got a hazy memory of watching a tv series (the opening credits were familiar so not a one-off) in the late 1960s. B&W of course. Late in the evening. There was a car or possible a convoy flanked by police motorcycle outriders who get attacked - I remember lots of smoke and the outriders skidding and crashing. The outriders wore those typical 60’s helmets and goggles from that era. It may be that the police outriders make me think it was a police series but this may be a red herring. Nobody in my family recalls this scene and occasional pings on Google and old tv sites provide no possible answers. Any thoughts welcome!

Is it the opening sequence (after the opening credits) of the first ever episode of UFO? It features a sequence where there's a politician being driven in a car and the motorcycle outriders all get killed one by one.
