Old tv prog with Lionel Jeffries????

Ok Oggy thinks I am mistaken but I do recall a tv prog starring Lionel Jeffries as a priest I think who had a mynah bird called Arthur.... any ideas what it was called?

Lionel Jefferies played Father Charlie in a series (6 x 30min episodes) of the same name in 1982.
Unfortunately I can't find Arthur mentioned, but I'm sure he was there and will keep looking for him

Blasted pc/laptop problems have kpt us offline till today... more than likely caused by youngest rugby tackling the lappy! Marrid life is most excellent.
