    Nanny and the Professor

    More well known in TV fandom circles today for ABC suing CBS to try and get Dawn Lyn back for "Nanny..." after she had already been released from her contract after the pilot took time to sell and cast as Dodie in My Three Sons.

    Kim Richards was the good outcome of that legal mess, though.

    Various ITV regi9ns showed the series such as Thames as early as April 1970 on Tuesday evenings after Today, and as late as April 1978 when Yorkshire was showing it on Thursday afternoons. And then it turned up on The Children's Channel in September 1993. I am familiar with it appearing in regional schedules in newspaper archives, usually in that 5.15 pm slot.
