Hi all
My first post, a question.
Does anyone remember a TV show from the 70's (possibly 78-80) in which people would submit home footage.
I can't place who fronted it, middle aged man seated in front a camera, a simple set-up.
I had suspected this was a section on Pebble Mill at One, but I could be wrong.
The timing of the show would be around lunch time, as I saw the beginning of this during my lunch break from school.
The opening credits included short clips of some of the footage sent in to the show, including a B/W clip of an old man walking up a hilly road backwards.
I remember this because my father mentioned a relative of his who did just that, he walked up Bower Lane in Eynsford backwards because he had a bad back.
So the question is, what was the programme?
Many thanks for reading this, and many more for any clues or information on what the show might be.
Cheers.
Norm
