Hi, I'm trying to find one of my earliest TV memories. It was a cartoon with a girl having adventures with a small car. I'm guessing the car was "alive" in some way and followed her of its own accord, but I don't remember it talking or having a face or anything. The girl seemed to take the car everywhere and even took it to bed with her like it was a teddy bear. I think the car was white with a small red heart on it. The programme might well have been intended for girls but as a very young lad I remember finding it cute and heartwarming.
It would have been about 1988 I think. I've a feeling it was on ITV and might have been part of the programming on TVAM or Wacaday rather than a stand-alone programme. I also don't think it was a long-running thing, it was more like something that was shown every day for a week and that was it, as I remember being sad that it wasn't on the following week. It's a real long shot but if it rings any bells for anyone I'd love to know what it was.
