Late '70s or early '80s tv drama most likely on BBC and I cannot remember the name.
On tv around tea time before the news came on.
It was about a teenage boy and girl that got mixed up with an adult crime gang or crime going on, it was a current day drama.
The bit I recall is them being chased and the girl running into a hairdressers which stopped the man chasing her any further.
To buy some time she asked if they could do her hair which they did, whilst she was being done a woman she knew came into the salon.
After a chat the woman agreed to pick the girl up and drive her home, this she did after the girls hair was done but she didn't have enough money to pay and asked the woman to lend her the money.
During the drive the woman became annoyed at the girl and the money, then it turned out the woman was part of the crime gang and took the girl to the hideout.
A sketchy description but appreciate if anyone can remember the title.
