    Re: Saddest TV moment ever

Byker Grove (Ant & Dec & Donna Air) starred in this. An episode when P.J (Ant) is blinded by a paintballing accident. It was heartbreaking to watch

The ninth Doctor's final scene at the end of Parting of the Ways. It was the end of the first series of Doctor Who for nearly fifteen years, Christopher Eccleston was amazing as the Doctor and I loved him and the fact he was dying from saving his best friend was just a briliiant way to go. I cried right through the Confidential that followed. I was 32 as well at the time. A big softy I am

i actually thought how amy left dr who was very sad.
i must admit i shed a few tears.

bit of a big softie myself.

also when yoda from return of the jedi died.
it always makes me well up and i always have a few tears.

                  Never cried, never will.

These people are fictional, for heavens sake. Cry for the young lads coming through Wootton Bassett, not b*oody Yoda.

One of the most poignaant moments of TV has to be the final scenes in Blackadder Goes Forth. Beautifully filmed and the music just caught the moment . Still brings tears to my eyes

An old one I watch occasionally is during the 1985 Live Aid concert. David Bowie had just finished his set and introduced a video clip of what was happening in Africa, again with beautfiul music in the background. Would bring tars to a glass eye

Never cried at films or events myself, but I remember feeling super terrible when I watched the film Castaway with Tom Hanks. To date it's the most miserable hour or so of film I've seen, even beating out The Road. I felt bad watching The Road, but that was a more miserable feeling compared to the Castaway ones which felt like it was crushing my insides.
