Hi everyone,
Hoping someone here can help - this is a name of a tv show I have been trying to remember for a long time. (I apologise if this has already been discussed on here, I did a search through the TV forum, could not find it though). I remember really liking this show, I just wish I could recall the name!
Back in the late 70s, early 80s in Australia there was a tv show on after school, on our ABC (channel 2), possibly before Dr Who.
I think they were self-contained episodes. I am sure it was a UK production - possibly BBC. They were all mystery/fantasy stories - a little bit sci-fi-ish, but not too scary for kids.
The one episode I remember clearly had 2 children arrive in an abandoned railway station. Time kind of melted and they were back in time, just prior to a train crash. The phone rings and a its someone, I think a station master from further up the line, asking them to stop the train. They can't, the train has left...they melt back into the present time, and the train crash is a big disaster of many years earlier.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
