does anyone rememeber a cartoon from the eightys about a duck with a long neck, it was a very sad one and had a sad tune that went with it, very bad decription but thats all i know, im sure it started with a g or j

it was a kids cartoon only 5 mins long, i think it was called gideon, prob cant spell it and cant find nothing about it,
i know that was the duck or goose name but not sure if the cartoon was also called that

gideon was a 70's cartoon about a duck who had problems and was ate by a crocodile once...
