Anyone remember the odd name of a short (foreign?) 80s teatime cartoon?

Hello,

We remember a five minute cartoon shown at tea-time, just before 6pm I think. It was around 1984/1985.

I think it was imported, maybe from Germany and maybe dubbed.

It was about a character that was just a rather ugly, realistic head with little legs and little arms. I think it lived in a mouse-hole in a kitchen.

It was a depressed little fellah, and I'm sure it had a long German-sounding name. The episodes were quite surreal.

It might have began with Mister... Like Mister Muchenengluablich???

I only remember one series.

Any ideas?

Thanks again, Daz. I wondered if there'd been an old thread about it, but the things I put in as search terms didn't find it.

Anyway, you've thrilled us both with your reminder. We watched it on YouTube today and it sure brought back the memories.

Murun was such an oddity, I'm afraid to say we used the name Murun to wind each other up.
