  • Sausages on forks

So then, Grange Hill came to an end yesterday after 31 series'. Personally I thought it was a pretty limp gasp as far as an end to 30 years of service, even if it did have Todd (Tucker Jenkins) Carty returning to deliver a bit of heartfelt advice on how 'school is what you make it'.

My 'Hill' time was from the beginning (Tucker, Benny etc.) but I must admit to sneaking a watch when I was far past its target audience age. Shame it had to bow out in such a way but chalk that up to 'demographics' and, more probably, money.

yeh I made a point of watching it! How come its set in Liverpool now?
Poor episode considering it was it its send-off!

I went up to comp the same year (Sept 1977) as Tucker , Benny, Alan et al started their 1st year, so that made it a bit more special too

    Those early episode were fab!

There were 2 blondes I fancied..Fay was one, I forget the other. Then there was the girl who now plays Connie in Casualty...who is soooooooooooo sexy
