This was a fantastic show.
yes it was only one frame vut the platers where much slower then so a frame with eddie charlton against cliff thorburn could last forever.

i was glued to this every week.

you are right, just googled it. Mark Williams 119 was the highest. Cliff hit the first televised 147.

well cliff was the first to get a maximum on the world championships i know that.

tthe first pot black was held at the bbc studios in birmingham in 1969.
the most recent pot black was won by ken doherty.
it consisrted of eight playersd.
