    same here mate.
    they cant recreate the atmosphere of a film for whatever reason they cant make it as good as the original.

    they should be able too but they cant.
    look at clash of the titans remake not a patch on the original.


    why do they keep doing remakes when they fail so often.

      Ok so it wasn't a remake of the THING but a prequel = Loved it

      also looking forward to the remake of The Evil Dead, looks like they will be removing the comedy bit out and making it creepier

      as for the other remakes, none really improve on the original, and I did not like total recall remake, as somebody already said
      some are classics and should be left alone

        actually the evil dead remake does look good.
        ill not get my hopes up for it being good but we will see.

          I agree, some of the CGI is a bit naff but as a prequel, it ties in nicely with the 1982 The Thing.
