Thanks for that Danny, I didn't know that either. I'm enjoying this series even more than the last one. I can't wait to find out what's going on. I still wish there had been more Life On Mars and I hope they make more series of this.

Really enjoyed this series. Great.

I heard on Sky yesterday that the programme makers will be making a third series and this will be the last. Everything will be explained in this including the going back in time and what Gene Hunt is all about. Can't wait!

I sawAshes to Ashes a while back. Great series!

I definitely get the comparisons to the other BBC series Life on Mars, though I think both shows have completely different vibes/tones, just like the '70's (Life on Mars) has a completely different vibe/tone than the '80's (Ashes to Ashes).

I'm not sure which show I liked more - though I was around in the '70's, my "formative years" were definitely in the '80's so I could relate more to the music, clothes, etc. from that era. I do prefer the '80's music.

Without going into a full review, I will say that Ashes to Ashes finale answered all of the questions we had about both ATS & Life on Mars.
