Anyone remember this?

This one may have come up before so forgive me if I'm digging up old graves here but does anyone remember 'Virgin of the Secret Service'?
It was a sort of proto Bond Victorian espionage series featuring a rather fey blonde officer (Virgin) and his various adventures in exotic locations (which were all in a studio somehwere I suppose) I used to love it. I don't know if my nascent hormones saw things that weren't really there but I seem to recall it being a bit saucy. Can't find out much about it...

Just saw this post today, I got very vague memories of this programme, it was set on North West Frontier in British Raj days -- think it was the stiff upper lip type of acting in the series that's always gave me a feeling of DejaVue ( spelling alert!) when Sid James and his officers are dining under shell fire from the Khasi of Kalaba's artillery in Carry on up the Khyber
