Does anybody remember this please !

I seem to remember a drama or mini series set in the Victorian age - well similar to Upstairs Downstairs era anyway.

It was set on the coast and I seem to remember that there was an annual "coast path run" where everyone under about 50 competed .

I also remember some girls were too scared to run because of the snake or something !!

It's driving me mad !!

"The Camomile Lawn". Didn't actually watch much of this but I remember the coast run and the little girl scared of "the snake", which wasn't a snake, if I recall, but a reference to an indecent assault/flasher?
