Does anyone remember S.W.A.L.K. it starred a very young Nicola Cowper.
i believe she married an armed robber.

Story in 6 episodes of an impressionable 13-year-old girl who comes to realise that life is not like that depicted in teenage magazines. Tx on Channel 4 in 1983; rpt in 1985.

also anyone watch an early 80's ITV series for teenagers called A bunch of fives

Have been after this for years! i have always lived in the Twickenham area and would have been about 10 when this was on tv and remember scenes that i recognized, like a large mural that gets covered in paint that the police think Amanda vandalized was on the side of a shop that sold sailing goods in Church street Twickenham. would love to watch again as a stroll down memory lane!

Bunch of fives had a sterling cast with Lesley Manville and Jamie Foreman. It was ITV'S Grange Hill. It was 1978 when it came out. Can anyone remember Latchkey Children? That Kwame bloke from Casualty was in it.

SWALK was the one where the two kids ran away and lived with a Gayman who was a teacher wasn't it? Didn't she come out with a comment like, Do you think someone like you us wise being around children? My God imagine saying that today.

I wonder are nicola and peter cowper related.
