Help in remembering a 70's or 80's TV show/movie

I'm trying to remember a TV movie that aired late 70's or early 80's. I apologize how sketchy my memory is, but I was only about 8-10 years old. The movie had something to do with a young girl that was either kidnapped and kept in some sort of a cage/crate, or maybe it was her family that kept her locked up? I remember the girl being very dirty with long, dark, tangled hair and someone trying to feed her thru the cage. Then later, when she's older (and I assume rescued), she is remembering back to a time when she pushed someone off a cliff, or maybe she sees someone getting pushed off a cliff? Oh, also, it seems like it takes place maybe in or around Mexico? I also remember the girl looking hispanic. If this sounds familiar to anyone, any info. would be appreciated!

Are you sure the lead character's a girl? If not, could it be 'Lucan' ?
