TV Show with Wipe Out As The Main Theme

There was an adventure TV show in the 60s, 70s or 80s and it's main theme was Wipe Out, the original was by Surfaris in 1962, and I was wondering if anyone knew of the TV show. When it started it was silent and a voice spoke "5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Ignition!", then the drums kicked in then the voice says "We have lift off!" and finally the rest of the ORCHESTRAL song kicks in. I'm affraid that's all I can tell you. not much more. Thanks in advance!
