does anyone remember a 1970's television movie about a little boy who had autism...hand flapping...spinning plates...mother worked on homespun remedy to try to cure him...in one scene, mom may have locked herself in the bathroom with him....think they called him "raunchey"?...some sort of nickname...HELP?

Yeah I remember it 'Son rise'. He used to spin plates, his mam used to sit and spin them too. As he couldn't enter her world, she entered his. I remember an awful bit when they thought they'd made progress but she was out of the room this one time and she could hear the plate spinning he was after retreating into his own world again. It turned out ok in the end. True story.Comment
