    Anybody remember this TV play from the 80's ?

    It was about a couple who were on an peaceful canal boat holiday in England UNTIL they a seemingly nice stranger befriends them but turns out to be a horrible , cruel bully , torturing them both in different ways as you can imagine !!

    HELP !!

      I think there were two couples on the boat. They took a stranger on board who turned out to be a psycho. Towards the end, he has a fight with one of the males. He's being held under water, on the verge of drowning. His hand comes across a tin of baked beans that had been thrown overboard earlier. He smashes psycho over the head with the tin and kills him.
      In the final scene, he and his wife jump naked off the side of the boat for a "swim".

      I reckon it was originally shown in the first week of the year in the early eighties, but don't recall the title or any of the actors.

      Is this the same one Zincubus?
